About The Income Administration

Administration process:
Falck (developer) gives funds to FDT's trading subsidiary Fintry Renewable Energy Enterprise (FREE), which has a right to a ‘turbine’s worth’ of the income generated by the whole windfarm. The trading subsidiary donates the income it earns from the turbine to FDT and this money is used to support the work of FDT in the community. FDT is a fully-constituted charity and run by a Board of Directors who are democratically represented by the Trust membership to oversee distribution of funds.

Feedback from process:
The process is very effective and meets the needs of the community.

Method of income distribution:
Direct funding of projects in line with aims and objectives of FDT
